STAFF NEWS

1. Ms. Kanchan Ramesh Rupani, daughter of Mrs. Sunita Ramesh Rupani, lab assistant, tied wedlock with Mr. Maharshi Chokkas on 31.01.2008. They are settled in Surat. We wish them a happy married life.
2. Ms. Ankit Makwana, son of Mr. Naresh Makwana, office peon, came out in flying colours in class Xth examination with a score of 77.38%. He is a student of St. Xaviers’ school, Adipur. We heartily congratulate them for the achievement.

STAFF TRAINING

1. Mrs. Manisha Sodha underwent one month industrial training at Ipca laboratories Ltd., KASEZ, Gandhidham, during the period 15th May 2008 to 14th June 2008. She got trained in various stages og manufacturing of solid oral dosage forms containing beta lactam antibiotics.
2. Three lecturers attended the Induction training program for technical teachers – Phase 1 conducted by NITTTR, Bhopal. The program was organized by Tolani polytechnic, Adipur, from 09.06.2008 to 20.06.2008. The names of the lecturers are Mrs. Richa A Dayaramani, Mrs. Amita H Patel and Mr. Bhupendra S Modi.
3. Mrs. R A Dayaramani and Mr. Bhupendra Modi attended the NAAC – college accreditation LOI and IEQA workshop organized by Internal Quality Assurance cell, Saurashtra University at Rajkot on 06.05.2008.

STAFF ACHIEVEMENTS

1. “Glorifying Bhang – How fair is it?” is an article co authored by Mr. Bhupendra Modi, lecturer, is published in the journal Planta Indica, vol 4, no. 2, April – June 2008.

 

 

2. Mrs. Richa A Dayaramani passed the CCC+ course examination from SPIPA, Gandhinagar. The exam was conducted on 15.04.2008.
