THE PLATFORM

Sustainable competitive advantage allows the maintenance and improvement of the enterprise's competitive position in the market. It is an advantage that enables business to survive against its competition over a long period of time. It thus has become a buzz word in today’s business environment. Therefore, we are witnessing organizations of all sizes adopting various policies, practices, strategies, and perspectives in the drive to achieve sustainable competitive advantage rather than just growth. This seminar focuses on paper presentations on the contemporary issues in management. The conference intends to bring all academicians and researchers, and practicing managers to come together and provide exposure to new endeavors and horizons made in meeting management challenges. The seminar is also open for post graduate students (pursuing) to present their views and ideas in form of paper presentations.

GUIDELINES FOR PAPER SUBMISSION

  • Abstract (not exceeding 300 words) should be submitted latest by 25th June 2006. Names of authors, their addresses (postal and email), and phone/fax numbers should be indicated. Submission electronically and through hard copy is necessary. The electronic submissions can be mailed to: tims@tolani.org with Subject line as : “TIMS National Conference on Management 2006”
  • Acceptance of the abstracts along with the guidelines for full paper submission will be notified latest by 30th June 2006.The deadline for submission of full papers (not exceeding 3000 words- the limit excludes the table of contents, graphs, exhibits, charts, bibliography etc.) is 20th July 2006. Selected papers will be eligible for publication in the conference proceedings.
  • Confirmation of final paper acceptance will be made latest by 31st July 2006.
