ADMISSION PROCESS

ELIGIBILITY TO APPLY

Students having bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university or appearing for final year of degree examination are eligible to apply. Their admission, if selected, will be subject to submission of their final year's result of graduation within the stipulated time. Students with legitimate work experience are given preference in admission.

SELECTION

1. Written Test
   The applicants are required to appear in any ONE of the following written tests and submit a copy of the test scorecard (The best ONE among all)*.

   * CAT Score x 1.25 = equivalent MAT Score

   • Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted in 2009 by IIMs.
   • Management Aptitude Test (MAT) conducted in or to be conducted in December 2009 or February 2010 or May 2010 by AIMA, New Delhi.
2. Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GD/PI)
   The applicants, screened through the written test as above, will be called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview at the Institute (TIMS) during second/third week of June, 2010. The final selection will depend on the overall performance of the applicant in the Written Test, Group Discussion, Personal Interview and Work Experience.

HOW TO APPLY ...

Obtain TIMS Application Form, from the Institute on payment of Rs. 500/- in cash or DD in favour of 'Tolani Institute of Management Studies' payable at Adipur/Gandhidham. Alternatively, the application form may be downloaded from the institute's website and submitted to the institute along with a DD of Rs. 500/-.

The TIMS application form is required to be submitted to the Institute before appearing for GD/PI.

The applicants called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview will have to pay additional Rs. 350/- towards the cost of administration and result processing of GD / PI.

TIMS - PGDM PROGRAM FEES

FOR THE BATCH 2010 - 2012

Non-Refundable Fees :

1. Admission Fee: Rs. 2,500 only once at the time of admission
2. Tution Fee: Rs. 98000 per year OR (U.S.Dollars 4500 or equivalent sterling pounds per year for an NRI candidate)

   • Schedule for Payment of Tuition Fee

   Year I : Rs. 98,000 on Admission OR Rs.49500 on Admission, and Rs. 49500 on or before 15th December, 2010.
   Year II: Rs. 98000 on or before 15th July, 2011 OR Rs. 49500 on or before 15th July, 2011 and Rs. 49500 on or before 15th December, 2011.
3. English Refresh Course Fee : Rs.2500 only once at the time of admission. The English Refresher Course - Module I is compulsory for -

• Students with non-English medium upto H.S.C. or XIIth or Equivalent Examination. OR
• Students with less than 55% score in English section of the written entrance test (MAT or CAT)

The above fees, once paid, are NON-REFUNDABLE in all circumstances for whatever reason.

Refundable Fee / Deposit :

1. TIMS Alumni Life Membership Fee: Rs. 1000/ - payable only once at the time of admission.
   
   (This fee is refundable, only in case of withdrawal or cancellation of admission).
   
   
2. Convocation Fee: Rs. 1000/ - payable only once at the time of admission.
   
   (This fee is refundable, only in case of withdrawal or cancellation of admission).
   
   
3. Caution Money & Library Deposit: Rs. 7500/ - payable only once at the time of admission.

This deposit will be refunded on completion of the program or on withdrawal / cancellation of Admission after deducting the following amount :

• “The Economic Times” subscription - Rs. 1600
• Medical Check- up and Insurance - Rs. 200
• Any other outstanding dues.

All these fees are payable on or before the due dates mentioned above by an A/c payee Demand Draft in favour of 'Tolani Institute of Management Studies', payable at Adipur / Gandhidham.

Cost of Text-Books

Rs. 6,000/- payable at the time of admission for year-I.
Rs. 5,000/- payable on or before 15th July, 2011 for year-II.
