India is among the fastest growing economies in the world. In a span of 60 years, India's economy has grown 12 times in size and its population has nearly trebled, offered a very large consumer market for global economy. India Inc., in order of priority would soon see need for capacity expansion, new market initiatives and modernization to face the global and domestic challenges and also to en - cash upon the opportunities. Managerial and

technical skills requirement would be the key consideration to maintain the new wave of rapid economic development. TIMS, could foresee this challenge and it has put its best efforts in last 11 years to equip students with strong knowledge base through classroom sessions and practical orientation in order to provide professionally qualified manpower.

 

Placement 2007 

The corporate people have shown tremendous confidence and trust to the institute. The Welspun Group, itself has taken maximum number of students, this year. We had an opportunity to entertain about 50 organizations for campus interview. The new entrants for placement this year includes; Sterling Resorts Pvt. Ltd, Welspun Gujarat Stahl Rohren Ltd, Navneet Publications (India) Ltd, Kotak Bank Ltd, Ruchika Placement Consultants Ltd, Uttkarsh Placements Pvt. Ltd, Claris Lifesciences Ltd, ABG Shipyard Ltd, ACT Shipping Ltd, ITC and Hindustan Level Ltd.

SUMMER INTERNSHIP 

The Summer Training Programme offers students of first year to get acquaint with actual business operations during their 6-8 weeks stay in an organization,during the months of May and June, every year. Students have undergone summer training in all most every field of management. Some of the new organizations added to our summer internship programme are Mudra Communications Pvt. Ltd, Explora Design Skool, Doshin Ltd, State Bank of India, Navneet Publications (India) Ltd, Centurion Bank of Punjab Ltd, Neelkamal Crates & Bins Pvt. Ltd, Reliance Communications Ltd, Apollo Tyres Ltd, Indian Rayon and Pantaloon Retail (India) Ltd. The summer projects undertaken by the students are selected at the national/ regional level 'Best Summer Project Contests' consecutively for the last five years and have won First to Third Ranks, respectively.

The Placement Brochure 2008, provides profile of final year graduating management students i.e. of 12th batch, who will be available for final placement from April 2008 and also, contains detail about the first year students opting for the summer placement. I invite all esteemed organizations to TIMS, Adipur (Kutch) for the campus placement.
