Tims PGDBM Programme

PGDBM – TIMS

The TIMS PGDBM is a programme aiming to bring about visible transformation in the outlook of the students enrolling in the programme, towards professional management, be it of economic enterprises or of non-profit organisations. However, it is recognised by the institute that business is a more powerful force of civil forces to bring about better well being of the human beings and sustainable development. Therefore, even though management is a universal subject with applications in all walks of life from management of religious places to management of national and international institutions of governance, the institute programme discusses management issues mostly in context of business enterprises. There is enough scope for students to learn about managerial issues in context of non-business context such as NGOs or rural development or social innovations. The emphasis is on development of an individual who can work as part of the team and command respect as performing team member.

"TIMS was a place which provided me environment, resources and guidance to sharpen my knowledge of financial world and developing my soft skills. I have realized that whatever I gained at TIMS is invaluable and is what I call "The real Experience". Two things I won't forget about TIMS Co-operative Faculties and very rich library.
