Greatest Buildings have strongest foundations....

No wonder then..., that "Vidya Mandir" campus is flourishing by every passage of time - it is based on the foundation of the dedication, and leadership of `Rev Kaka Pribhdas S. Tolani' (1893-1988).

One does not question some institutions - as Kaka Tolani was invited in this complex, to take over Gandhidham Civil engineering institute, offering certificate courses for Civil Overseers in 1960, G. C. B. - an educational trust founded by Kaka, took over this institute & upgraded it to polytechnic level. The noble cause of serving humanity was carried further by Late Madam Jamwanti H. Kanal (1920-2004), and now by Mrs. Anjana Hazari - President, G. C. B., the youngest daughter of Kaka.

And then there was no looking behind. Till date, the campus has grown manifold, sprouting various institutes in the process.

And yet another feather in the Tolani Campus's cap is

"Tolani Institute of Commerce"

And that's how Mrs. Anjana Hazari - President of Gandhidham Collegiate Board decided to address the long-felt need of an exclusive English - medium commerce college in this township. Every year from Adipur-Gandhidham complex, on an average 450 students clear out their higher-secondary examination in commerce faculty from English medium schools. Over and above there were also students from nearby cities like Anjar, Mandvi, Bhuj and lot more other villages also in search of an institution, where the medium of instruction would only be `ENGLISH'. So much so, that a few parents were forced to make up their minds to send their children to some other cities for graduation. Necessity being the mother of invention, Mrs. Hazari started giving her dreams - a shape in the form of "Tolani Institute of Commerce" which is an "English medium" college offering "graduation in commerce" - a self finance college affiliated to Kutch University.
