There is no formal Academic Advisory Body, since the common Curriculum of Gujarat state is followed .But Academic affairs and its administration is taken care by the Principal and all the Head of Departments.

Gandhidham Collegiate Board (GCB) is a trust registered under the societies act XXXI of 1960.
A tiny seed sown in 1961, sprouted in to a sapling in the midst of Rann of Kachchh. Today that sapling, nurtured by Tolanis has taken a form of a huge tree with deep roots - Vidya Mandir - with branches spreading in to different streams of education like Polytechnic, Arts, Science, Commerce, Pharmacy and Management. This Educational Campus, is spread across 43 Acres of Land. The Gandhidham Collegiate Board was founded by Rev. Kaka P. S. Tolani in 1961.
Kaka’s view of education was truly grand and not restricted to construction of college buildings only. What he had visualized was a full fledged educational campus with all the modern facilities and an educational environment. That is explained by Kaka’s decisions to bring more of his hard earned resources to construct staff quarters for the people who joined hands with him in making his dream - a reality.
Not stopping with this ,Kaka constructed hostels for girls and boys. To take care of sports and cultural activities, Kaka got a stadium and an excellent auditorium built.
The versatile personality of Kaka was obvious from some other decisions which Kaka took and committed more resources to those projects. He inspired and brought funds for Toalni Kala Niketan (an arts centre) in 1980 and Tolani Eye Hospital and Research Centre in 1982.
After Kaka’s passing away in 1988 this spirit of providing good quality education has remained with Tolani Family and the education society has been managing all the institutions efficiently then.
The flame for quest and propagation of education kindled by Kaka, so many years ago is today kept alive and burning bright by his beloved daughters Late Madam J. H. Kanal and currently by Madam Anjana Hazari.
