REPORT ON GUJARAT STATE 4TH ANNUAL CONVENTION OF ISTE STUDENTS-2007

Inauguration and Keynote Speech :

Shri S. Srinivasan, Sr. G.M. IFFCO-Kandla inaugurated the function by lighting the lamp and delivered the key note speech, which was highly informative and motivated. He suggested more co-operations between Educational Institutes and Industries.

ISTE Gujarat State Representatives :

Shri Indrajit Patel, congratulated the ISTE Students Chapter of Tolani F. G. Polytechnic, Adipur for :

- 100% student as Members of ISTE Students Chapter.

- Best chapter award for the year 2006, in the 1st year of the inception of ISTE Student Chapter.

- Getting selected for hosting the prestigious State Level Annual Convention in the 2nd year.

Management Representative :

Shri H. K. Kriplani, Administrator, expressed his happiness for hosting the prestigious State Level Annual Convention and gave good wishes for the success of the programme.

Shri Pradeep Gohil, Sr. Vice President Excel Group of companies, Bhavnagar released the Placement Broucher.

Expert Guest Lecture :

Shri Pradeep Gohil, Sr. Vice President Excel Group of companies, Bhavnagar delivered an expert lecture on “Art and Science of Goal Setting”. Audience highly appreciated the lecture, which will help the students for setting their goals.

STUDENT FEEDBACK :

Students were very happy with the convention. They highly appreciated the expert lecture. According to them it was learning with entertainment. The convention motivated participants for paper writing and learning general knowledge.

IMPRESIONS OF PROF. INDRAJIT PATEL & PROF. I.D.PATEL :

They appreciated the students for taking part in activities like general knowledge test, paper presentation, quiz competition, remaining present in large number throughout in the convention and excellent discipline maintained during the convention. They congratulated the principal and chief convener for successfully arranging the convention and specially for maintaining time schedule of the programme. They were of the opinion that the convention will help the students in setting their Goals, motivate them for preparing for General Knowledge and encourage them for Paper Writing for which they have to read number of journals, visit the different websites etc. This will inculcate the attitude of innovation and creativity among the students. Such activates are highly desirable for improvement of Technical Education in the changing paradigm of Globalization.
