ABOUT THE INSTITUTE :

Tolani Foundation Gandhidham Polytechnic founded in 1961 is approved by AICTE. The courses offered by the Institute are Diploma in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Engg, Home Science and Computer Aided Costume Design & Dress Making.

TFGP Adipur is managed by the trust – “Gandhidham Collegiate Board”. The Trust also manages other institutions like Tolani Arts & Science College, Tolani Commerce College, Tolani Institute of Pharmacy, Tolani Institute of Management Studies, Tolani Institute of Excellence, Tolani Institute of Commerce and Tolani Institute of Law. Gandhidham Collegiate Board also manages Tolani Eye Hospital and Research Center & Ram Krishna Seva Kendra.

LOCATION :

The Institution is located at Adipur in Kachchh District. It is at 8 km from Gandhidham and 300 Km from Ahmedabad and well connected by bus & rail routes to all major cities and towns of the State.

The Gujarat State 4th Annual Convention of ISTE Students-2007 will be held at Tolani F. G. Polytechnic, Adipur on 26th October, 2007.

In addition to the State Level Seminar on the themes of the convention, other technical activities like Paper Presentation and Technical Quiz have been planned for the students to exhibit their competencies, which are shown under the Events.

The function will be inaugurated by Mr. Manish Bharadwaj, IAS, Commissioner of Technical Education, Gujarat State.

Venue of all the programmes/events : Prabhu Darshan Auditorium, Nr. Saurabh SRC Guest House, Adipur.

All student delegates must register themselves.

Time for Registration and Breakfast is from 8:30 am to 9:30 am.

All delegates will be provided Breakfast, Tea & Lunch coupons.

Only participating delegates will be provided stationary kit.

All student delegates must bring Identity Card.

(1) PAPER PRESENTATION :

Technical Papers are invited from students on the following themes.

TQM in Technical Education to Meet the Global Challenges

Innovation and Creativity in the evolution of Technical Education

Role of Students in enhancing the Image of Technical Institution

Web Based Learning Model

Mandatory Internship in Technical Education

The papers should be sent in the following format :

The Rules for Paper Presentation are :

a. One participant can submit only one paper.

b. Duration for presentation : 8 minutes

c. Question & Answers : 2 minutes

d. If more than one participant is presenting a paper there must be equal contribution from other co-participant.

e. OHP & LCD projectors will be provided as per the requirement.

f. Two entries per institute will be selected. Top 10 entries will be selected for the presentation.

The paper should be submitted in Soft and Hard copy with duly filled registration form to be downloaded from the website.

(2) TECHNICAL QUIZ :

Technical quiz competition is being held to test the knowledge pertaining to technical, sports, current and general topics at 9:30 am sharp.

The Rules for Technical Quiz are :

a. Any number of registered students can take part in quiz.

b. A screening test consisting of 25 questions will be conducted.

c. Scores of First and Second ranked students of each participating institute will be counted in order to finalize the Institute score.

d. Top 6 institutes shall participate in the quiz.

Accommodation for student delegates/teachers shall be arranged in college hostels/guest house arriving on 25th October night.

All delegates arriving on 26th October morning will be provided facilities for becoming fresh and taking bath etc.
