Nitin. G Hiranandani is ME (Mechanical) having 3 years industrial and 25 years teaching experience. His area of interest is Quality and industrial engineering. He is qualified lead auditor for ISO 9000, Quality Management Systems from Bureau Veritas Quality International (BVQI). He has experience of coordinating and conducting In House training programmes for industries on ISO 9000 and 5S Housekeeping. He has worked as Project Officer for Nodal Center for Entrepreneurship and Management an AICTE Sponsored scheme from 1997 to 2004. He has experience of working as Honorary Director of undergraduate Management Institute and Hon Coordinator for Post Graduate Management Institute. He teaches subject of Entrepreneurship at Management Institute and is counselor and guide for IGNOU courses. He has experience of working as counselor for Open Learning Programme on Entrepreneurship for Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDI).

Greetings !
While writing this, I feel delighted particularly because Tolani F. G. Polytechnic is celebrating its Golden Jubilee this year (2010-11). In the last fifty years, the Institute has been able to achieve remarkably. It has been a sincere endeavor at the institute to adhere to the benchmark standards of quality and to add value through education. Perhaps it is this adherence that has helped us produce more than 150 state toppers in 50 years. The results declared by Gujarat Technological University in the recent years have also been equally encouraging. We have been striving to expose the students to a range of experiences while they pursue their formal studies. Activities at the Institute under CEPT Nodal Institute-Infrastructure, Nodal Centre for Entrepreneurship and Management Development, Community Development through Polytechnics, and of course, Industry-Institute Partnership Cell have immensely helped the students to shape themselves. As part of the Golden Jubilee Celebrations, the Institute recently witnessed a grand alumni meet, where alumni including those from the US and Dubai Participated. The support from the alumni has indeed been substantial. As you read this, I hope that our students would stand true to your expectations and develop themselves further.
