The profession of engineering has been held in high esteem for decades now. The reason for its popularity is that engineering is perceived to offer the perfect blend of high pay packets, infinite scope of specialization, as well as a prominent social reputation for those in the field. Today, though the global situation looks gloomy, India's rapid growth rate ensures that engineering is still going to hold its status as a one of the most sought after careers in India. "The future for engineering students from India will remain bright in spite of the current global scenario because the engineering field in India still attracts the academically brilliant students, unlike in the developed countries where bright students prefer to study management or finance".

The shift of industrial activities to smaller towns has also created major job opportunities in these areas. Gujarat's small towns like Vapi, Anjar and Bharuch, have provide higher job opportunities, following industrialization in these areas.

We at the institute level have tried to guide the students for their career in academic as well as field under the Industry Institute Partnership Cell, which will act as a bridge to meet this demand. I will fail in my duty if I don't appreciate the efforts and support given by all the coordinators of my team in achieving the desired goals.
