Ms. Dipti Acharya, part time lecturer English Department has resigned from her post due to her personal health reasons

As there is inadequate teaching staff In order to conduct the regular classes smoothly, considering the need of the faculty members, the institutional management has appointed five visiting faculty members during this academic year.

The following Non- Teaching/ Administrative Staff have also been appointed :

Tolani F. G. Polytechnic

1) Mulchand R. (Hamal) retired on 31 August 2007. He had joined TFGP on 7 July 1980.

2) Mr. Bijlisingh R. (Chowkidar) retired on 30 September 2007. He had joined TFGP on 9 September 1982.

A farewell function was organised in their honour and TFGP wished them a happy and healthy retired life.

Department of Civil Engineering has appointed Mr. Chintan Bhatt as a Lecturer for Self-financed programs (SFP). Mr. Bhatt is a B.E. (Civil) with Distinction from National Institute of Technology, Surat (N I T Surat) and an alumnus of TFGP. He has 9 years of fieldexperience. His previous employers were Gandhidham Development Authority (GDA) and Gandhidham Municipality. He has also been working as a consulting civil engineer and structural designer. He has joined the Institution since January 2008.

Mr. Jitesh Thacker has joined TFGP (SFP) team as a Clerk/Lab Assistant in Computer Engineering Department. He completed his Post-Graduation in Commerce (M.Com.) in 2005 from TCC. He also holds Diploma in Computer Science with First Class and has an experience of more than five years in computer operations and administrative work. As a student, he has won honours for his cocurricular activities.

Mr. Haresh Khemchandani has joined the Department of Mechanical Engineering, TFGP, as a Lab Assistant / Clerk (SFP) since August 2007. In addition to his graduate degree in Commerce (B. Com.), he has completed CCC (BAOU, 69%) and holds a basic computer course certificate by I.T.I. He worked as an Accounts Assistant with Trinity Shipping and Allied Services Pvt. Ltd, Gandhidham, for 3 years and 9 months before joining TFGP.

Ms. Zolly Chiniara has been appointed as a Lab Assistant in the Department of Civil Engineering (SFP).

TIMS

Prof. N.K. Kapoor retired in September 2007 after serving for 11 faithful years.

Dr. Kinjal Ahir, B.Com., MA (Economics), NET and Diploma in Export Marketing.

Her Ph.D. from Bhavnagar University is a comparative study between Indian and Philippines Higher Education Systems. Her two research papers got published in international and national journals. and she won the Best Paper Award in an International Conference for her paper.

She has to her credit many prestigious awards as a student for her communication skills and personality traits. She has conducted many sessions and corporate training on communication skills and personality development. She possesses 5 years of teaching experience at undergraduate level.

Ms. Mamta Keswani, PGDBM (Finance) has joined TIMS as a faculty in Finance. Ms. Keswani is a gold medalist in PGDBM (Finance) with minor specialization in Marketing from TIMS. She has an industry experience of 3 years to her credit and is currently offering courses like Insurance and Risk Management and Strategic Management.

Ms. Neha Nawani has joined as Office Assistant from 30th November 2007.

Tolani Institute of Excellence

Ms. Deepti has joined the English division for Management Entrance Test training program at TIE as a Visiting Faculty. She has done her B.Sc Honors in Chemistry from Regional Council of Education, Ajmer. She did her MBA in Marketing from Symbiosis College, Pune. She has been trained by the Gujarat Govt. as a DRP (District Resource Person) and has 5 years of Industry experience. She is presently working with St. Xaviers High School, Adipur. We welcome her to our family.
