INAUGURATION OF OPHTHALMIC EQUIPMENTS
Tolani Eye Hospital and Research Centre inaugurated the OPHTHALMIC EQUIPMENTS on 12th February 2008. The equipments have been purchased with the generous funds of Rs. 6.4 lacs donated by IFFCO, Kandla.
Mr. Srinivasan, Sr. General Manger IFFCO Kandla appreciated the efforts of TEHRC in catering to the needs of the poor and the needy in this dry region of Kachchh. The chief guest, Dr. (Mrs.) Nimaben Acharya, MLA Anjar, also mentioned about the work done by Tolanis' in the education field for upliftment of people of Kachchh and remarked that it is a very noble service provided by this Trust. The Guest of honour Mrs. Savitri Sachdev, the eldest alive daughter of Kaka Pribhdas Tolani, also blessed the occasion.
The ORHTHALMIC EQUIPMENTS at TEHRC will be very much useful in the research work related to the eye diseases related to the dry desert environment. Dr. Harsh Prajapati, explained the importance of the equipments to the audience. Didi Anjana Hazari, President GCB and Shri B.G. Hazari, Trustee GCB welcomed the guests with flowers. Prof. H.K. Kripalani delivered the formal vote of thanks.
