Three Kinds of People

There are three kinds of people in the world:
The wills, The wan'ts and The can'ts.
The first accomplish everything,
The second oppose everything,
The third fail in everything.

Humour

Teacher: How is it your essay on a dog is exactly like the one written by your sister?

Boy: It must be because we both have the same dog, Miss.

Teacher asked: “Vijay, if your father borrowed five hundred rupees and promised to pay back ten rupees a week, how much would he owe at the end of ten week?” “Five hundred rupees” was the quick reply.
“I am afraid you don't know your lesson very well”, scolded the teacher.
“I may not know my lesson,” said Vijay, “But I know my father.”

TARGET THE DISEASE NOT THE INDIVIDUAL

India is a very religious and a respected country. Here children respect the parents, teachers and elders to the extent that the limits of frankness between children and them is quite far, not to discuss topics like sex. But we should discuss about safe sex and protection from certain types of diseases like, AIDS, Gonocohoria, etc. AIDS is Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome. HIV is a virus called the Human Immunodeficiency Virus. It attacks the immune system of a person's body. The immune system is the system in the body, which fights diseases, so if the immune system is destroyed then body cannot resist diseases properly. HIV mutates and there are several types of virus. Some are worse than the others. So it is HIV that has taken the opportunity of the weakened state of the body in killing the person.

Our elders should spread this awareness of safe sex through schools and colleges amongst boys and girls of 15 and above. The more the awareness the easier it will be to combat the disease. Today India ranks 2nd after South Africa in AIDS. It's high time that we realize how serious the matter is and leave the traditional unwanted shyness in discussing this issue with children.

AIDS DOES NOT SPREAD BY TALKING, EATING WITH OR SHARING JOYS WITH AN HIV AIDS INFECTED PERSON. They become such humans that are treated unlike humans and instead like animals. Unwelcomed anywhere, they are made to feel ashamed of whatever has happened to them, no matter how did they get infected!

Students' Speak - What is THE WORTH OF AN MBA?

Success consists in being successful not in having potential for success. So, any wide piece of ground is a potential site of a palace but there is no palace till it's built.

NOVEMBER 19, 2006 : The CAT exam for the IIM's.

Over 2.5 lacs, Indians bowed over optical mark sheets diligently shading boxes to notch up a score which would in the final analysis, make or break their destiny. Each one of them dreamt the same dream MBA: a passport to success with a visa stamp of degree and a seven figure salary at journey's end. This course lives up to its hype but it's not all smooth sailing. There is a drop of one year for preparation that many students take and the 2 years of studying for the degree. It is all worth it. Many consider degrees from an A grade institution superior; but somehow things did not work in everyone's favor. MBA teaches the basics and complexities of the field of business and industry through interactions with the leading names in business and business cases in the industry and all over the world. Moreover, it also fine tunes the personality.

Money is the greatest incentive for seeking greener pastures and B-school graduates have a tendency to compare themselves with the highest paid batch mates. Unrealistic but true, which is why 81% felt their present jobs did not meet their expectations. Finally, it is great to have as an additional qualification. You are better off than others and have the ability to create a world of oneself.
